The COE is a key enabler of Booking Holdings Inc.’s global talent strategy for several technology functions such as Cybersecurity, Fraud monitoring/analytics, IT, and others across our Brand subsidiaries. About the Opportunity The COE is looking for a Corporate Counsel (Legal & Compliance) or Legal & Compliance Associate to support the COE Senior Legal Counsel (Legal & Compliance) in overseeing the COE’s adherence to local laws and regulations. They also need to handle employee relations matters in partnership with the People team, implement Compliance & Ethics program initiatives at the COE, and provide other legal team support as needed. Eligibility A university degree or equivalent in scientific, business, or legal studies. A law degree or equivalent from a reputable law school is preferred but not mandatory (required for Counsel title). For those without a law degree, Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional credentials is preferred. At least 8-10 years of work experience ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations (including the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act (“POSH”) and employment/labor), advising on employee relations matters and assisting with fact finding through witness interviews and memoranda drafting, and implementing compliance and ethics programs.
