About National Company Law Tribunal
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) is a quasi-judicial body in India that adjudicates issues relating to Indian companies. The tribunal, established under the Companies Act 2013, was constituted on 1 June 2016 by the government of India and is based on the recommendation of the V. Balakrishna Eradi committee on law relating to the insolvency and the winding up of companies.
About the Job
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) is inviting applications for the role of Law Research Associate on a contractual basis across its Amravati (Andhra Pradesh), Ahmedabad, and New Delhi benches.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Hon’ble President/Members of the NCLT, gain hands-on legal experience, and contribute to high-stakes corporate litigation and insolvency matters.
Eligibility
Law Graduate (LLB/LLM) with 50% aggregate marks from a BCI-recognized institute.
Law degree must be obtained within the last two years (final-year students are eligible).
Age limit: 30 years as of 5th April 2025.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills required.
Must be proficient in legal research databases (eSCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, Westlaw, etc.) and MS Office.
Sound knowledge of Company Law & IBC is essential.
Salary
Amravati & Ahmedabad: ₹60,000/month
New Delhi: ₹65,000/month
