About the Job
The Legal & Compliance Executive will play a key role in managing the company’s legal and regulatory obligations, with a strong focus on mergers & acquisitions (M&A). This position involves close collaboration with the Founders, CFO, and senior leadership to provide expert legal advice, support high-impact strategic transactions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Eligibility
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Admitted to the Bar (if applicable in your jurisdiction).
Experience:
Minimum 5–6 years of post-qualification experience in legal and compliance roles of handling corporate affairs.
Proven experience in M&A transactions, preferably in a fast-paced corporate or law firm environment.
Prior experience working closely with Founders, CFOs, or senior leadership on strategic legal matters.
Skills & Competencies:
Deep understanding of corporate, M&A, and commercial law.
Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and business acumen.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
