INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT NITI AAYOG Eshika Sahay About NITI Aayog The NITI Aayog serves as the apex public policy think tank of the Government of India, and the nodal agency tasked with catalyzing economic development, and fostering cooperative federalism. With the Prime Minister as the Chairperson, presently NITI Aayog consists of: Vice Chairperson: Suman Bery. Ex-Officio Members: Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitaraman and Narendra Singh Tomar. About NITI Aayog Internship Undergraduate/postgraduate students or research scholars enrolled in recognized universities/institutions in India and abroad can apply for the NITI Aayog Internship Scheme. They will work closely with NITI’s verticals/divisions/cells. Applicants will have to apply online by filling up the registration form. Eligibility Criteria Bonafide students of any recognized University/ Institution within India or abroad, fulfilling the following conditions are eligible to apply for the internship: Undergraduate students, having completed/appeared in the term end exams of second year I 4th, semester of the bachelor degree course and secured not less than 85% or equivalent marks in 12th class. Graduate students having completed/ appeared in the term-end exams of the first year/2nd semester of their postgraduate program or pursuing research/PhD and secured not less than 70% or equivalent marks in Graduation. The students who have appeared in the final exam or just completed Graduation/PG and waiting for admission to higher studies may also be considered for internship provided that they have secured 7 Ooh or more cumulative marks in all the years/ semesters of their graduation/ post-graduation till the date of application. The period between the month of declaration of the result of the final exam and the desired month of the internship should not exceed six months e.g. if the result is declared in the month of June then he/she can apply for the internship beginning till the month of December. Mode of internship On-site. Location New Delhi. Duration The period of the Internship shall be at least six weeks but not exceeding six months. Interns not completing the requisite period will not be issued any certificate. Important Date 10 June 2025. 2ND NATIONAL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION BY MNLU MUMBAI’S LDS Sweta Kumari About MNLU Mumbai Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014 on 20th March 2014, is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. The Act envisaged to establish a National Law University in Maharashtra to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies for the advancement of societal life of the people in the country. About the Event The Literary and Debating Society (LDS) at MNLU Mumbai is thrilled to announce the 2nd edition of our flagship National Essay Writing Competition in collaboration with the Association for Democratic Reforms & Public Concern Governance Trust. To offer individuals a chance to express their intellect and originality on significant contemporary issues, LDS is conducting a nationwide essay writing competition. The themes span a wide and inclusive spectrum of current discussions. This initiative aims to stimulate meaningful conversation, spark fresh ideas, and promote collective engagement, while also empowering participants to articulate their thoughts and sharpen their writing prowess.Theme — ‘Citizens First: Depolitisation of Development & Political Accountability’ Topic 1: Decriminalisation of Indian Politics Topic 2: Expenditure on Election Campaigns Topic 3: Functioning of Political Parties Registration Guidelines Click Here to Register. DEBATE COMPETITION BY KANORIA SCHOOL OF LAW FOR WOMEN Sweta Kumari About the Kanoria School of Law for Women The Kanoria School of Law for Women, established in 2018 in the campus of Kanoria College, Jaipur, is affiliated to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India. The institution is dedicated to developing new areas of legal education that will help young females become qualified lawyers who will inculcate a profound and long-lasting respect for human dignity, social justice, and fairness. High-quality legal education is provided by KSLW, which will eventually produce a new generation of judges, lawyers, leaders, and legislators. About the Debate Competition Kanoria School of Law for Women is organising “Parley 5.0: Debate Competition” on 13-14 June 2025. The competition’s purpose is to encourage students to think critically about diverse social and legal issues and to provide experience that will help them develop life-changing cognitive and presentational abilities. The debaters will also gain unique educational advantages from this debate competition as they hone unattainable talents in any other environment. Its goal is to make law graduates more aware of the effectiveness of using persuasive facts and well-reasoned arguments. It allows them to explain their position by employing verbal elegance. It gives one a sense of composure and assurance. It teaches students how to conduct effective research, arrange information, and deliver it in an engaging way. Eligibility Criteria Students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year law course from any University/Institute/College approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the event. Each college/institute/university may enter only 3 teams (selection on a first-come, first-served basis). Teams may consist of students from the same or different institutions. Note: Winners of past editions of Parley are not eligible to participate. Topic of the Debate Competition Preliminary (Round 1): Efficacy of Cyber Laws in India. Semi-Final (Round 2): Courts should uphold constitutional morality over public sentiments. Final (Round 3): Relevance of Human Rights Institutions in contemporary India. Mode The competition would be conducted online.
