Desh Bhagat University (DBU) is a private university located in Fatehgarh Sahib district in Punjab, established under The Desh Bhagat University Act, 2012 (Punjab Act No. 15 of 2013) of Punjab Legislative Assembly. DBU has four campuses in India at Fatehgarh Sahib, Shri Muktsar Sahib, Moga and Chandigarh and an international campus in Kenya.

HARSH SADAWARTI Vice President, Desh Bhagat University Mandi Gobindgarh This seminar aims to explore the profound and meless philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam-the belief that “the world is one family.” Rooted in Bharat’s rich cultural heritage, this principle calls for the interconnectedness of all humanity, urging global coopera on for sustainable and inclusive development. By delving into the underlying philosophical tenets of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, we seek to illuminate its relevance in addressing contemporary challenges and shaping a future grounded in unity, shared prosperity and ecological balance.

Call for papers

Desh Bhagat University invites papers from students/ staff/ research scholar/faculty for the ICSSR Sponsored Na onal Seminar Research Paper/ Ar cle Forma ng Guidelines: Be consistent with MLA/APA rules throughout the document for headings, cita ons and references. Word Limit: Approx. 2500 to 4000 words N.B.: For Punjabi follow Raavi or Unicode and for Hindi follow Kru dev 010 or Unicode. The abstract should not be more than 300 words followed by 5 keywords. Plagiarism should be less than 10%.
