About Desai and Diwanji
The firm was founded in Mumbai’s financial district in 1930 by two law university friends and highly respected lawyers, Ambubhai D. Desai & Kisonlal M. Diwanji. Ambubhai and KMD had a unique relationship which embodied the true spirit of partnership – with plenty of camaraderie, collaboration, mutual respect and hard work.
Over the decades that followed its establishment, the eponymous firm of Ambubhai & Diwanji had a thriving practice in litigation and real estate, representing many of India’s leading business houses of the time and some of Bombay’s largest property developers. As corporate India grew through the 1980s and beyond, the firm took on a leading role as one of India’s foremost corporate and commercial law firms.
About Desai and Diwanji Internship
Desai and Diwanji internship programme is designed to offer exceptional law students a taste of what it means to work on complex legal issues at a leading law firm Desai & Diwanji offers talented and motivated law school students the opportunity to work with experienced lawyers at one of the country’s leading law firms.
The objective of the programme is to simulate as nearly as possible the experience of a first-year associate at the Firm.
Eligibility
As per the website of Desai and Diwanji, there is no eligibility criteria to apply for the Internship. However, top Law Firms usually prefer students who are in their 3rd, 4th or 5th Year of their 5-year Law School or in their final year of the 3-year Law School.

Duration
Over a period of 4 to 6 weeks, our interns are exposed to complex and challenging legal matters in the practice area of their choice.
