About the Event
This conference “Public Health And Human Rights: A Multidimensional Approach To Equity, Justice And Resilience” aims to explore the intersections of these global challenges and address the systemic barriers preventing equitable healthcare access and the upholding of human rights. By engaging with the legal, social, and cultural dimensions of health inequities, this event will explore the implementation of key international treaties, including the Nagoya Protocol on Biodiversity, the WHO Framework Conventions, and the Pandemic Treaty currently under negotiation. These frameworks are crucial for managing global health risks and ensuring international cooperation, but they must evolve to better address issues such as gender equity, migration law, and digital rights, which are increasingly relevant in today’s interconnected world.
