Overview
The Department of Law, Aliah University, Kolkata, in collaboration with AUDLAA is hosting 6th National Level Seminar on “PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF VULNERABLE CLASS IN INDIA”. The event aims to explore recent key developments and offer practical insights to deepen attendees’ understanding. The seminar seeks to promote sharing insights and viewpoints on the Indian Constitution among academicians, legal professionals, practitioners, human rights advocates, and experts from various domains.
Who is it for?
All students, academicians, research scholars, lawyers and other interested candidates are eligible to participate in the seminar.
Location
The seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Aliah University, Park Circus Campus, 17 Gora Chand Road, Kolkata—700014.

Willing Participants may present research papers in the following sub-themes:
Human Rights of Vulnerable Groups.
Intersectionality and Legal Protections of Women, Dalits, Tribals, Minorities and Children.
Protection of Women’s Rights: Gender Justice and Legal Frameworks.
Child Protection in India: Legal Safeguards, Challenges, and the Way Forward.
