About the Conference
Event Name: Two Day Online International Conference Human Rights, Intellectual Property Rights, and Artificial Intelligence: Converging Frontiers and Balancing
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping societies, economies, and legal frameworks worldwide. As AI systems generate content, automate decision-making, and influence access to resources, they intersect with two critical domains: human rights and intellectual property rights (IPR).
AI offers unprecedented opportunities—enhancing access to education, healthcare, and justice—while raising concerns about privacy, discrimination, and accountability. The proliferation of AI-generated works, however, challenge traditional IPR paradigms, questioning ownership, authorship, and enforcement in a digital landscape.
This conference seeks to explore these intersections, addressing the ethical, legal, and practical implications of AI through the lenses of human rights and IPR. As of March 16, 2025, the urgency to harmonize these fields has never been greater, with global debates intensifying over AI regulation, data sovereignty, and equitable innovation.
